These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Project Port (the "Service"), operated by Project Port ("we," "us," or "Company"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
Project Port lets home-service businesses log completed jobs, generate SEO-friendly descriptions of that work using AI, publish it to their own website via an embeddable widget, and send customers requests for online reviews. The Service can optionally connect to third-party accounts you authorize — for example Google (for Places/Maps data and review links) and QuickBooks Online (to import completed jobs from your invoices) — solely to provide these features.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
You agree not to use the Service to publish false, misleading, or infringing content; to misrepresent completed work; to solicit fraudulent reviews; to interfere with the Service's operation; or to access data belonging to another company on the platform. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
You retain ownership of the project descriptions, photos, and other content you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service, including publishing it to your own website via the embed feature. When you connect a third-party account (such as QuickBooks Online or Google), you authorize us to access and process the data from that account as necessary to provide the features you've enabled, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You can disconnect a third-party account at any time from Settings.
Some plans may involve fees, which will be disclosed to you before you're charged. Accounts currently on a manual or trial plan are not automatically billed.
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, though we may retain certain data as described in our Privacy Policy or as required by law.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be error-free, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
